«الْمَاهِرُ بِالْقُرْآنِ مَعَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ، وَالَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَيَتَتَعْتَعُ فِيهِ، وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ شَاقٌّ، لَهُ أَجْرَانِ»

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The one who recites the Qur’an beautifully and with skill will be with the noble angels, and the one who recites it while struggling and finding it difficult will have two rewards.”

(Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)
